went out last night and something kinda funny happened to me when i was making my way home. was standing at the bus stop near sim lim sq when this guy next to me looked at me and said "hi". i looked at him incredulously and went "do i know you?" to with he replied "no. i'm from korea; on mission trip". imagine that ... haha couldn't help but laughed at that point of time. two complete strangers, chatting like we've known each other for quite sometime, simply because of a common identity. found out that he's en-route to batam the next day, with singapore being a transit stop. would've invited him to YF for some sharing if he didn't need to leave the next day.
anwya, i was confined for 1 hr plus yesterday after work. bleah ... just when i was raving about how lucky we were to not get punish for playing our PS2. this time around, it was simply cause we went for breakfast and missed our usual fall-in timing. what the hell man ... my encik wasn't even there when we went to his cubicle at 8 for our morning brief! moreover, we did msg him to tell him that we're off to the canteen for breakfast what. oh well ... i still am quite thankful though, that we were merely confined for an hour plus rather then the whole night.
just found out that mobile numbers will start with 8 rather than 9, as numbers with 9 are running out. this would only apply to new mobile subscribers i believe. According to ChannelNewsasia, it was reported that 'only 160,000 mobile phone numbers starting with '9' remains'.
