X'mas day!
its that time of the year again! a festive time of sharing and gathering; a time of love and care.
for me however, this year feels very different. for starters, our church didn't have any carolling sessions and for the first time in 3 years, i didn't spend my xmas eve with church people. instead, i spent a lot of my time carolling with my hall friends and eventually counting down X'mas with them at East Coast Park as part of our carolling performance.
the countdown carolling performance at East Coast wasn't too bad and the crowd was pretty ok, but i think what attracted me the most were the dogs ... huskies to be exact. there were 4 huskies there on parade, masquarading as reindeers and they were simply gorgeous! Will try to post the pictures for you guys to see when i get them, but yeah ... they were super nice! wahaha ... i think i'm in love man ... gotta get myself one of them huskies one day =)
today's performance marks the last of the canvassing jobs that i'm involved in. hurray! no more canvassing! the last performance was at europa country club; it was a pretty nice place with beautiful colonial decor ... too bad the place will cease to exist after next year =( not sure how everyone felt after the carolling performances, but i do hope that all of you enjoyed yourselves k!
a new year is about to dawn upon me; new challenges, new obstacles. need all the strength i can and i'm sure i will experience many trials and tests ... but one thing is for sure. God is faithful and He will not let me carry more than I can bear!
