dunno why but i've taken a sudden interest in bikes recently; stanley getting his bike and my friend shopping for a bike in the past weeks might have something to do with it i think. i've fallen in love with another piece of cold steel ... its called a Hayabusa and its a 1.3 litre suzuki bike. 1.3 litre!!! more then some cars arh! and if my memory serves me correctly, its also the fastest bike now. B E A U T I F U L.

well i guess i must really thank God cause i had quite a good week; a nice period of destressing and relaxation. on thursday, i left work early and went to meet dom, viven and wendy at NUS cause i wanted to have a look at the Bazaar that was being held at the NUS admin block. wah i must say that NUS is quite an intimidating place to me man. i felt so small, lost and out of place while i was there. and i somehow, i can't help but notice that where-ever i turn, the people around me all look quite good ... hmmm .. maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me? that aside, i finally got to visit weijia's hall room~! haha not bad arh .. quite a nice place ... hehe had a cushion fight with dom and vivien there also .. childish right =P went to see vivien in action during floorball training also ... wah some of her friends not bad looking man .. haha right dom? saw some of my ex- jc friends also ... but din get a chance to talk to them ... din feel like talking to them either. lets just say i didn't have a very memorable JC life. oh yah! i got to seat in vivien's car and "evaluate" her driving skills .. haha not bad yah .. but then again .. she say drive for 3 years already, so should be quite apt.

friday was great cause i didn't have to work! woke up at 11.45am feeling lazy yet refreshed; very long never sleep until so late already~! went for lunch with my parents after that, which is also something that i haven't done in quite a while since all our busy schedules seldom allow us to do so. YF was not too bad as well, since i got to interact and get to know some of the younger kids better ... always see them around but was never able to call them by names. played some farnie game where we had this quiz about comic characters. pastor wesley got his questions and answers from a REALLY lousy source cause some of the answers were WRONG! that aside, i was invincible when it comes to answering comic character questions man ... hehe ... that goes to show how much garbage and useless stuff i have in my already very limited brain storage.

woke up really early on saturday cause i had to report to macritchie reservior for my unit cohesion run. not too bad, but i was made to look after 6 other guys cause they didn't know the running route, so i had to jog slowly and make sure they could catch up. a short game of captain's ball was next before we were finally dismissed. not a bad way to spend a saturday morning~! went to meet dom and shower at his place before going down to railway mall to buy some Rocky's pizza for our meeting in church. Rocky's pizza .... mmmmm .... good stuff man! especially the boston special. was really glad to see a small but assuring group of youths turn up for the meeting and voluteer their service in helping out in the various YF-related activities. I really looking forward to working with them and hopefully, our chuch youths will all be a big bunch of closely knitted, God loving brothers and sisters =) found out that the YAF people were going to Ngee Ann Poly to play some ball games .. too bad lah ... i was appropriately attired or i would've joined them! went to watch them play later on in the evening ... was soooo tempted to just join in and play ... nevermind. next time if they have such activities, i'll surely make myself available!

sunday is God's day and i was the guitarist for lynette who's songleading this week. am really thankful for God's guidance cause i wasn't feeling confident at all, playing the songs she chose, as i wasn't familiar with the chords and also cause my fingers were swollen. thankfully, there wasn't any major glitches. we've finally completed the 3rd book for our BS and we'll be moving on to the last book two weeks after ... my my .. how time flies. my 2:7 class is also nearing an end; one more lesson and i'll quality for baptism! the first step towards my christian adulthood i guess =) today was suppose to be a "farewell" lunch for leon, who's going for his enlistment exercise at Tekong this thursday ... haha botak lor~! unfortuantely, we weren't able to get a table big enough to accomodate all of us at Ivins' so we had no chocie but to split. lunch itself was great though~ i left Ivins feeling satisfied and bloated. we went our own separate ways after that, with vivien, sylvester and i going down to orchard and meeting up with gavin cause vivien had some shopping to do.
viv: thanks for helping me get the burner set ya; now i don't need to go around hunting for it liao~

oh yah, i found out on saturday that this girl from my old church is actually feng yi's classmate, and she sits next to feng yi! wah its really a small world man ... hopefully, feng yi will be able to psycho her to join us for our YF camp!
