started today on a bad note; was booking out after a tired night of duty when the RP guarding the gate refused to let me out, saying that i don't have an 'off-pass'. how in the world am i suppose to get an off pass signed when everyone in my unit is having a long weekend and no one is around!??!?! but would the fella listen? noooo ... in the end i had to call up my RSM who was nice enough to call up the guard room and give the fella some "words of wisdom" before i was allowed to leave.

anyway, the badminton game i had anticipated for the whole week turned out pretty good and i must say i burnt some lards .. hehe ... it was quite funny watching fengyi play cause she's a seasoned squash player and all her strokes are so squash-like~! oh and dom completely whipped my ass, trouncing me 15 - 2 in a single set ... haha kinda expected it though ... ain't my fault that i'm not physically inclined man. saw my cousin at clementi sports hall as well ... haven seen him in a while but he still keeps his long flowing hair even though time and time again, everyone's been telling him that it doesn't suit him at all ... musta been due to the fact that he's a scholar and most scholars are so full of themselves and seem to presume that whatever they do is correct, so no need to heed the advice of others ... notice however, that i used the word "most" cause i assume that not all scholars are like that (weijia i hope you're reading this). anyway, he was there to fence and i would've loved to stay on and watch him fence cause it was a sport that i had wanted to pick up initially. the only thing that kept me form doing so was the gargantus amount of money involved ... somewhere along the tune of a thousand dollars to be precise. oh well ... maybe i'll do it when i've started working ... then again ... maybe not cause i'd most probably be tied down with work commitments wouldn't i?
