self reflection.

was fortunate enough to be given internet access in the office. along with it came the privilege and allowance of using msn and skype in the office; as a matter of fact, everyone uses it.

just cause its given, should i be using these whilst at work?

it used to be that i will leave both msn and skype on in busy mode while i work. but i don't feel good about it: its distracting to say the least and it leads to unproductiveness.

a conflict of values means that a choice has to be made. so from hence, i will only turn on either/both when i have free time in the office or during lunch break.

and hence be a better steward of my time.

and of stewardship, i need more wisdom in managing my resources. stopping and looking back, i'm kinda disappointed at the way i'm handling it this far. this has seriously got to stop; enough is enough. gotta think more before i do anything.

anyhow, its nice to be missed and thought of by friends (carol, xzz and co!) even though they only thought of me cause they were eating durian and jelly, WITHOUT me. lets have them again when i'm back ok? i'll pick good durians and make sure all of us enjoy them TOGETHER! =)

an after thought as a result of something i read:
we doubt because we are taught from young that there is no such thing as free lunch in this world. whoever said that in the first place obviously did not know God.
