while i did mention that i enjoy being in Suzhou and all, i'm starting to find fault with the air quality here. or then again, maybe its the fact that i'm working in an industrial area, but everyday, i come back to my hostel feeling as though my nose is all clogged up with dirt. and every morning, i find my nose feeling sore and dry.

cold cold temperature + dirty polluted air = dried, painful nose = unhappy sam.

that aside, i guess i'm slowly warming up to my colleagues in my department. at least now, i am able to call more of them by name rather than a mere "excuse me". on the other hand however, i still find myself lost when it comes to me trying to define my exact job scope here in the company. this poses a problem for me, as i am required to fill up a form with regards to that and hand it in to my IA supervisor back in s'pore.

there are so many things that i find interesting, that i want to learn; and yet there is only so much time that i have. plus, my scope has to be precise and well defined.

well, at least its comforting to know that while i feel lost, He knows exactly where i'm going =)

all in all, the trip's been great so far. the numerous eating/shopping/sight seeing outings have really brought all of us closer and i must really say that i'm enjoying everyone's company! i guess it was pretty random but during dinner earlier on tonight, as all of us were eating, laughing, enjoying the food and each other's company, i felt really fortunate. it was as though i managed to find a home away from home.

and for that, i'm thankful

its getting late and as usual, i need to get up early tomorrow. so yes, bed time. but before i go, a sneak of what is to come soon: hangzhou, zhou zhuang, beijing, shanghai! haha, these are all not 100% confirmed, but boy am i looking forward to them! will update once i have confirmed details.

and lastly, i miss all of you back home.
