pre-Good Friday

was doing QT using the daily bread and the passage had some link to Good Friday (don't know why either .. its not even friday today!). there at the bottom of the page were these lines, and somehow, i just feel rather drawn to them.

Good Friday was the darkest day in human history. But because of Jesus' sacrifice for us, the cross was actually the greatest victory of all the ages!

Can't help but feel awed and marvel at how the symbol of gruesome torture eventually become the symbol of everlasting life.
