oh one more thing ....

watched Passion of Christ on Good Friday with some of the church people and it was every bit as gory and bloody as i had imagined. read dom's blog about how he sorta asked if he could take Jesus' place instead. i asked myself that question too, while i was there watching; and i found that i couldn't. how many a man, could replicate what Christ went through? the lynching, the torture, the humiliaton; to carry such a heavy cross just after being tormented and tortured. would i be able to take his place? i don't think so. and i don't believe anyone is able to, save for Christ alone. for His was a purpose non could've understand nor comprehend. a burden so heavy that it would simply crush anyone who even dared attempt to carry it. for only He, was the One; the redeeming sacrifice.

so who will you be when one day, you're forced to make a choice? judas iscariot, who betrayed Him? simon peter, who denied Him? or will you be able to stand firm in faith, and give up everything to be with Him?
