a friend of mine asked me a question today; it was just a casual remark, but somehow it got me thinking.

why didn't you go to "----" ? how come you end up doing this kind of things in our unit?

why would he say that? cause he felt that i had the potential to go further? or was it just something to strike up a conversation with to kill time? thought about it when i was on the bus back home. would i have made it if the accident didn't happen? how far would i have gone? hmmm .. but then again, its just mindless indulgence. i can dream as wildly as i want to, but at the end of it all, its back to reality and reality is harsh. fantasies are fun, but reality is more practical.
