today's a great day for me! nothing very special happened but i just felt happy =) went to camp in the morning to collect my target cards and pellets before heading to Yishun Safra's Indoor range for air rifle practice. its been soooo long since i last practice but i did pretty ok i guess ... beat everyone else from my formation team but against the top shooters from other armed forces formation ... i think i'll get my ass whipped by them instead ... especially the MINDEF group, they have national shooters who can shoot with machine like accuracy. scary. had to go up against them during last year's competition ... felt really small and lousy against them man. i'm very happy when i go for rifle practices cause you really have to forget about everything, concentrate on your posture, breathing, and triggering; no cares, no worries, nothing. i always imagine myself being there in an open empty space with not a single soul in sight; the 2 clicks of the trigger, the snap as the round leaves the chamber and finally the cracking sound as the round punctures the target. i used to be really concerned about hitting the bullseye until my Mdm, who used to be a national shooter, gave me coaching. its not so much the scoring, but rather the summation of lotsa details: breathing, posture, positioning, etc. get the basics right and the scores will come to you ^_^

haha din have to work at all today cause my sir was kind enough to let me have the day off after practice. he's always quite irritated when i tell him i have to go for practice and he'll say something like " you sure you can shoot anot???" and give me some smirking face. haha as a matter of fact, he said the exact phrase this morning this morning when i was leaving the office and even asked me to bring the target cards for him to inspect. the surprise came when i as almost out of the door: "go lah go lah ...whole day shoot shoot shoot ... and dun bother to come back after that ah ..." hehe that really made my day man! yep~ so here i am now, in the comfort of my home, happily punching away at the keyboard ...

oh its raining now~ din really notice till now. fine weather for a nap i must say; haha maybe i should do just that ....
